Adam's company has box-seat tickets to the San Antonio Spurs games. Each department rotates when they get to use them. This past Wednesday was Adam's department's turn. Usually the higher-ups in the department get dibs on the tickets before Adam gets a chance at them, but due to a bunch of the higher-ups being out of town, Adam and some of the other peons got a chance to go to the game. It was so much fun! Our seats were AMAZING! They played the Oklahoma City Thunder, and it was a pretty close game the whole time. The last five minutes were especially exciting, seeing if the Spurs could pull out the win, and the did! I love the energy at live sporting events.
We had a great night. It was fun to hang out with Adam's co-workers and be part of the crowd at a winning game. We might have to become Spurs fans now :)
Happy Anniversary to us! I can't believe it has already been 7 years. It has been a great adventure so far, and I can't wait to see what the next 7 years will bring. I love you!
I know it was almost 4 weeks ago, but I'm happy to finally be posting about Lucy's First Birthday! (I've been waiting until I could get the video uploaded, and I finally got around to it today. Yay!) I wanted to make a cake, but we didn't need to eat a whole cake ourselves, so we invited some friends to come over and have cake and ice cream with us while we sang Happy Birthday to the birthday girl.
Lucy picked at the frosting and cake a little bit, but she didn't really eat any of it. I can't believe she's already a year old! Crazy! She was taking a few steps while we were in Washington for Christmas, and when we came home, she continued to take more and more steps, until a few days before her birthday when she was toddling about like a pro. At her 12-month check-up, the doctor found some more teeth that were coming in. She loves to play with her toys, putting them in buckets and dumping them out again. She especially loves to play with whatever Josh is playing with, much to his great dismay. Heaven forbid she touch any of his trains! We switched her to whole milk, and she LOVES it! So do we. NO MORE BUYING FORMULA!! She also loves to eat (when she's not sick like she has been the past few weeks) and will usually eat anything that we are eating.
