Camping

We went camping this past weekend with Adam's family, and it was Joshua's first camping trip. We went to Indian Creek campground, which is about 8 miles east of White Pass. We all had a great time with good food and only minimal rain.

Relaxing with a juice box.

Grandpa, Grandma, Brek and Julia

The master chef.

Our tent.

Joshua and Kacy.

Joshua liked to go exploring around the campsite.

He found pine cones.

And sometimes got stuck.

He loves his doodle pad...

...and Uncle Kacy's longboard.

We all had a fun time and I'm glad we got to spend some time with Adam's family before we move to Texas.

Joshua is such a little man now! How did he sleep? That is the part I would be most worried about!

Josh slept just fine at night. Pretty much exactly the same as he would have at home. He got to stay up a little later than he would at home so that it would get a little darker and all, but it worked out well. If we hadn't brought the portable crib, though, it might have been a different story.

The part I was most worried about was making sure he didn't fall into the fire or anything like that. But we kept an eye on him and made sure that sort of thing didn't happen.

He's so big now! I came across the photo you took of him in 2006 laying beside a sign wishing me a happy birthday recently. It was interesting to see that and then come here to see him now.
