This is kind of late, but I wanted to get it done before we start posts about our new house in San Antonio. We had a fun Fourth of July weekend. Adam's family came over and we had a fun day playing games and hanging out. Our friends Anika and Sean and their little boy Terryn also came over for dinner. Adam smoked a pork shoulder roast all day, and we had pulled pork sandwiches for dinner, along with homemade coleslaw and potato salad. YUM YUM! After dinner we passed the time before dark by lighting some fireworks and hanging out outside. Then it started getting dark and the real show started. We sat in our driveway for two hours and watched a steady stream of huge fireworks from all around the neighborhood. We had a few of our own fireworks we saved for dark, too. It was very pretty, but I'm glad it only happens once a year. It was a fun day and I'm glad we could spend a little more time with family before we leave next month.
